In celebration of National Pie Day, I shared with News Channel 8 Tulsa an easy and absolutely delicious recipe for Oklahoma Pecan Pie with Chocolate Cookie Crust and Salted Caramel Drizzle. Oklahoma is second in the nation for native pecan production, and it’s where indigenous people discovered pecans originally. Another great day for cultural storytelling through this local region’s native foods.
