Former Ohio Sen. Capri Cafaro has channeled her passion for all-things-food into “America the Bountiful” — a 13-episode food and travel series for public television. The show is distributed nationally on public TV stations.  Cafaro explores America’s history and culture through food found in small towns nationwide. The first episode looks at indigenous tribes preserving and creating a variety of ancient and modernized foods. Meanwhile, in the tenth episode Cafaro talks with African-American pecan growers who are preserving Black land ownership in the South. Read more from Cleveland.com.
